It was announced today that Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson will not have a hearing with the NHL department of player safety over his hit on Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin in Game 2 of the playoff series. Let’s take a look at the hit:
Dumoulin was knocked out of the game and is questionable for Game 3. Wilson has a history of dirty hits.

See a pattern here? In almost every one of these hits, he intentionally tries to injure the opponent. And the NHL allows this. At this point it won’t stop until he kills someone, and it’s only a matter of time.
