Source: Raiders giving Gruden 10-year deal

Source — The Oakland Raiders will sign Jon Gruden to the longest coaching deal in NFL history — a 10-year contract likely approaching $100 million — when it is made official Tuesday, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Friday.

The Raiders have called a significant news conference for Tuesday, at which time they will introduce Gruden as the team’s next coach, a league source confirmed to ESPN.

Well holy shit! Not only are the Raiders moving to Vegas but they are getting their boy Jon Gruden back on the sidelines! While I think this is a GREAT move by the Raiders and Jon Gruden to finally come out of retirement. 10-year deal worth over $100 million is absolutely insane and that is obviously why Gruden came back but let’s not forget this Raiders team is pretty damn good.

Last year they finished 12-4 and Derek Carr looked like a franchise quarterback.  Since then, they’ve added Marshawn Lynch and some other key pieces that will thrive under Gruden.

Plus, let’s not forget how good Carr will be with 24/7 Gruden QB Camp!
