The Finals rematch of the Cleveland Cavs and the Golden State Warriors is the marquee matchup for all Christmas Day games. Other key players Stephen Curry and Isaiah Thomas will not be playing due to injury.
This game will focus more on Lebron James’ and Kevin Durant’s matchup throughout the game. The fans are waiting to see another showdown between the two top players of the NBA.
Without Curry on the floor, Kevin Durant played great while averaging over 32 points.
Despite Curry not being able to play, the Warriors will look to trump the Cavs through utilizing other players like, rookie Jordan Bell and returning veteran Shaun Livingston.
A key matchup to pay attention to is Livingston and Wade for the backup point guard positions as well. It will be interesting to see how Wade will be utilized in the Finals matchup. Wade is averaging 11.4 ppg., 3.6 rpg., 4.0 apg. in 23.7 mins.
Lebron James will look to showcase his dominance once again on one of the biggest holidays of the year. In his 15th season in the NBA, James is averaging 28.4 ppg. while shooting 57%, in addition to averaging 8.2 rpg., 9.2 apg. 1.5 spg., and 1.5 bpg.
The Cavs vs. Warriors game will be televised on ABC at 4 p.m.
