Isaiah Thomas has made swift rehab progress after suffering a hip injury (torn labrum) in the 2017 NBA playoffs.
He participated in practice Sunday and he said “I felt good for the most part” stated by Cleveland.com. He was seen in action in five on zero drills.
The team lacks a point-guard while Lebron James has been on point-guard duty for the majority of the season. The Cavaliers are in need of guards (Rose and Thomas) right now, but they are turning things around after a 5-7 slow start.
IT will surely help with scoring and playmaking, but defense is still an issue.
He will take the pressure away from LeBron James and will alleviate James’ high minute usage. When IT returns, he will help the Cavaliers contend in the Eastern Conference and will be an important piece in their championship run this year.
We will be updating on IT’s rehab progress as soon as updated news is released.
