Former NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn died after being involved in a car accident in Texas. The medical examiner’s office stated that Glenn died Monday morning at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
Glenn was drafted seventh overall in the 1996 draft by the New England Patriots. The former wide receiver spent six seasons with the Patriots, one with the Green Bay Packers, and five years with the Dallas Cowboys. He also, played three years at Ohio State.
At Ohio State he won the 1995 Fred Biletnikoff Award that was during his All-American campaign year.
The NFL wide receiver had his best years with the New England Patriots, where he was named a 1999 Pro Bowler. The Patriots also, named him to the its All-Decade team for the 1990s, with a pair of ACF championships.
Glenn ended his career with 593 receptions in 8,823 yards with 44 touchdowns.
His career ended in 2008 due to injury issues.
