The Kid’s love/hate for Week 11 fantasy

Quarterbacks that I love –

Alex Smith, Chiefs:  His alarm clock seems to have gone off in week 8 as he has really slowed down lately, but this matchup is too good to pass up.  The New  York football Giants are that bad of a team and defense that I think Smith has a field day with them on Sunday.  In fact, the Giants have only not let up 3 or more touchdowns 2 times in the past 6 games against far inferior QB’s.  Smith is a no brainer this week and might even be worth trading for!

Drew Brees, Saints:  The Saints offense is clicking on all cylinders and despite not throwing a TD last week, the Saints still put up 47 points.  There is no doubt that New Orleans is committed to the run but that will lead to a lot of big plays off the play action for Brees this week against the Redskins.  Not to mention, Washington just let up 38 points against Case Keenum and the Vikings!  Look for Brees to have a big day at home.

Quarterbacks I hate in Week 11 –

Case Keenum, Vikings: The Rams is the number one scoring defense the past four weeks and currently ranked in the top five against the pass.  There is also some added pressure on Keenum this week as Teddy Bridgewater seems ready to go and I won’t be surprised if we see him.

Dak Prescott, Cowboys:  There is no doubt that the Cowboys are a much different team without Ezekiel Elliott on the field, and nobody knows that better than Dak.  The play action is not nearly as much of a threat and everyone knows that the ball will be in Dak’s hands.  Expect the Eagles pass rush to get to him and a couple turnovers this Sunday night – resulting in a no play for me.

Running Backs I love in Week 11 –

LeSean McCoy, Bills:  This one is simple.  First of all, the Bills are starting a new quarterback on the road so you can’t expect them to drop back and pass the ball a lot – look for a lot of McCoy.  Secondly, if they are going to drop back – I think there will be a lot of dump offs to McCoy resulting in a huge fantasy day.

Rex Burkhead, Patriots: Burkhead is clearly the go-to back in New England when he is healthy.  With the amount of injuries that the Patriots are seeing at wide receiver, James White is playing in the slot which is giving Burkhead a lot of snaps out of the backfield.  I think that he has proven that a LB cannot cover him – making him a big play this week.

Running Backs I hate in Week 11

Adrian Peterson, Cardinals:  The Houston Texans have a lot of issues right now, but their defense is not one of them – especially the front seven.  In fact, the Texans have only allowed 1 rushing touchdown all season and if the Cardinals are going to have success this week, it will have to be through the air.

Alfred Morris, Cowboys:  Despite getting the start this week, Morris still isn’t a play against the Eagles who are allowing just 2.88 yards per carry on the season.  Furthermore, Kareem Hunt (81 yards in week 2) is the only back to have rushed for more than 40 yards against the Eagles this season.

Wide Receivers I love in Week 11 –

Brandin Cooks, Patriots:  The Raiders are the 28th ranked passing defense this year and Cooks is one of Tom Brady’s only weapons.  Look for Cooks to get behind the defense at least once for a long touchdown and also catching a handful across the middle for a big fantasy day in Mexico.

Pass-catchers I hate in Week 11

All Packers WR:  Brett Hundley has yet to have a monster game and the Ravens have yet to let up a 100 yards to a WR this year, while having 2 weeks to prepare for a young QB.  I expect Brett Hundley to have a very rough day and the WR to have a very quiet day.

DeAndre Hopkins, Texans: Hopkins is facing off against Patrick Peterson which is never fun.  I know you have to start Hopkins but if you have some other great options, might be worth a second look.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! GETTING CLOSE TO FANTASY FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS…
