Week 10 NFL Betting Guide and Picks

Questions about where to put your money on NFL games this week? Look no further.

Spreads provided by Bovada & CBSsports

Seattle @ Arizona

Spread: Seattle -6

Pick: Seattle -6

Analysis: The Cardinals looked strong on Sunday aside from the fact they were playing the 49ers. Seattle is coming off a discouraging loss against the Redskins Sunday in which the offense struggled to get much going. On four days rest this could be an ugly game with questions for both teams. Look for that Seattle defense to keep the Seahawks over the 6 point spread.

New Orleans @ Buffalo

Spread: New Orleans -2 1/2

Pick: New Orleans -2 1/2

Analysis: Following a promising win against Tampa Bay, the Saints still look like one of the better teams in the NFL this season. Tyrod Taylor’s play is improving, however, coming off a dud performance by running back LeSean McCoy last week the Saints will comfortably take care of business on the road.

Green Bay @ Chicago

Spread: Chicago -3

Pick: Green Bay +3

Analysis: Brett Hundley didn’t look that bad against the Lions. The Packers still have enough competent skill players to where they should still be able to hang around with teams like Chicago. We will see just how much Green Bay learned from that Monday Night loss against the Lions. Expect this game to come down to the wire, making the spread hard to turn down.

Cleveland @ Detroit

Spread: Lions -10

Pick: Detroit -10

Analysis: Let’s be honest, your hard-earned money should not be placed on the Browns in 2017. Detroit comes off a strong Monday Night Football performance against Green Bay in which the Packers secondary could not keep up with Detroit’s recievers. Don’t look for Cleveland to cover the spread in this one.

Cincinnati @ Tennessee

Spread: Tennessee -5

Pick: Tennessee -5

Analysis: Before last week I would have given the Bengals the edge here. But with Marcus Mariota looking like his old self again and the dismal performance from the Bengals offense last week with AJ Green getting ejected, don’t expect Cincinnati to play their best football on Sunday.

Pittsburgh @ Indianapolis

Spread: Pittsburgh -10

Pick: Pittsburgh -10

Analysis: Indianapolis stole one last week against a Houston team who just lost their quarterback. Don’t look for them to string another win together or even cover the spread against a well-rested Steelers team fresh off a bye week.

New York (Jets) @ Tampa Bay

Spread: No Line

Pick: New York (Jets)

Analysis: Oddsmakers are waiting to see if Jameis Winston or Ryan Fitzpatrick will start for Tampa Bay on Sunday. The Jets are likely to be favored and are a good tentative pick for this game with the suspension of Mike Evans.

Minnesota @ Washington

Spread: Minnesota -1/ 1/2

Pick: Washington +1 1/2

Analysis: Washington is a dynamic team that has some momentum coming off a road win against one of the best defenses in the NFL. They head back home to take on a solid Minnesota team which they should be well prepared for. Look for Washington to string together another win against a quality opponent on Sunday.

Los Angeles (Chargers) @ Jacksonville

Spread: Jacksonville -4

Pick: Jacksonville -4

Analysis: That Jags defense has been a hot topic so far in this NFL season, and for good reason. They held the Bengals to just 7 last week and Blake Bortles and that offense is slowly but surely improving as the season goes on. With the Chargers sitting at 3-5, Jacksonville is a solid bet in this one.

Houston @ Los Angeles (Rams)

Spread: Los Angeles (Rams) -11 1/2

Pick: Houston +11 1/2

Analysis: Following the injury to Deshaun Watson, Tom Savage and the Texans dropped one to Indy last week. However, the Texans skill players still make them an interesting team. Don’t be surprised if the Texans catch the Rams off guard looking ahead to a big week 11 match up.

Dallas @ Atlanta

Spread: Atlanta -3 1/2

Pick: Dallas +3 1/2

Analysis: Dallas looks to be the hot pick in this one. Obviously a lot rides on the ever evolving case with Zeke, but if the narrative doesn’t change, take Dallas and the spread in this one. Atlanta is fresh off a loss to the Panthers in what has been a confusing season for the Falcons. Expect the Cowboys to win both at the line of scrimmage as well as the box score.

New York (Giants) @ San Francisco

Spread: New York (Giants) -1

Pick: New York (Giants) -1

Analysis: Don’t bet on this game. But if you do, take the Giants. You can sleep a little bit easier knowing you don’s have money on an 0-9 team. Not until Garoppolo gets a start at least. Don’t expect that 1 point spread to come into play.

New England @ Denver

Spread: New England -7 1/2

Pick: New England -7 1/2

Analysis: The quarterback struggles are just too much to overlook for Denver. Don’t expect that Bronco defense to be able to bail out the offense every possession as they did last week. Tom Brady and the Pats offense will make that 7 1/2 point spread very hard for Denver to cover on Monday night.brady
