If you look at the standings in the AFC, you can make argument that there’s only 3 good teams. The rest of the AFC, besides the Cleveland Browns, is filled with a bunch of average teams with no clear cut identity. The 5th and 6th seed is totally up for grabs. We could possibly be looking at a team make the playoffs with an 8-8 record.
At the beginning of the year, the New York Jets were projected to be the worst team in the NFL. Somehow they find them selves at 4-5, and it’s not unrealistic anymore to say this team can’t sneak in with the 6th seed. The main issue the Jets have had this year in closing out games. The lack of experience is probably to blame for this issue. If this team learns how to finish, I can see this team making a push for the wild card. At the beginning of the season, if you risked 20 dollars for the Jets to make the playoffs, you would walk away with over 1,000 dollars. Let’s see if the Jets can go up against all odds shock the football world.
