Midway through the first quarter, Arron Rodgers was rolling right and took a big hit from Anthony Barr of the Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers stayed down on the field and you just knew something was wrong:
The good news for the Green Bay Packers and all Packers fans is that a broken collarbone was probably the best case scenario here. There is no ligament damage and no damage to his rotater cuff or labrum. While there are reports that he is out for the season, my sources are saying that this is a 6-8 week rehab and he should be able to start throwing by then. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him start throwing if the Packers are still in the playoff hunt and making a run for returning for the playoffs.
However, seeing how they played offensively yesterday after AR12 going down, I highly dount that will be the case.
